About the Centricity Fellows Program
The Centricity Fellows program is a 12-month, full-time, paid fellowship designed to provide hands-on experience within the Christian music industry. Each Fellow is placed within a primary department while also collaborating across teams to gain a well-rounded perspective of how music is created, distributed, and promoted.
Fellows participate in regular one-on-one mentorship meetings with department heads, as well as structured employee development opportunities, including industry training and skill-specific workshops. This program is designed to develop both professional and personal skills while providing a front-row view into the daily operations of a successful independent record label.
Location: Franklin, TN (in-person, full-time)
Start Date: June 2026
Fellowship Term: Through June 2027
Position Overview
The Product & Distribution Fellow will play a vital role in supporting the delivery, reporting, and management of Centricity Music’s releases across digital and physical platforms. From tracking consumption data and creating reports, to preparing lyric deliveries and managing the Trust’d playlist brand, this role provides the opportunity to engage in both creative and operational aspects of product management.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and enthusiastic about both the technical and creative processes that bring music to audiences.
Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and distribute regular consumption and editorial reports to internal staff and artist/management teams.
- Monitor and track release performance across DSPs and playlists.
Distribution & Delivery
- Support the distribution and delivery of masters, including OpenPlay uploads and metadata management.
- Ensure accuracy of assets and timely delivery to DSPs and physical partners.
Physical Product & Merchandise
- Assist with the manufacturing and delivery process for CDs, vinyl, and merchandise.
- Help manage vendor communication, proofs, and timelines.
Playlist Management – Trust’d Brand
- Manage and grow Centricity’s Trust’d playlist brand across DSPs and social media.
- Brainstorm and pitch new creative playlist themes.
- Regularly update playlists with new songs and maintain “This Is…[Artist]” playlists as new releases drop.
- Collaborate with the Creative team to refresh playlist cover images.
- Execute supporting social media tie-ins and promotional content.
Lyric Delivery
- Execute MusixMatch lyric delivery for Centricity and Residence Music releases.
- Format and sync lyrics to audio for delivery to DSPs.
Team Support & Collaboration
- Provide support to the Marketing Director on ongoing campaigns and projects.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, A&R, and other departments to learn how all parts of the label connect.
- Be encouraged to pitch fresh ideas and actively contribute to improving processes and creative strategies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with data, reporting, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with an interest in audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working with Christian faith-based artists and creatives.
Candidate Profile
- Open to current college students, recent graduates, and individuals exploring a career in the music industry.
- Candidates with prior music industry knowledge are welcome, but the program also serves as a learning ground for those newer to the field.
- Passion for music, curiosity about the industry, and a willingness to learn are essential.
