My parents took me to a Rick Mullens concert when I was a baby, but the first concert I remember going to was Mark Schultz. “Letters from War” got me every. single. time!

Jane the Virgin! I don’t watch much TV though, so I’d probably be at Barnes and Noble or something.

I don’t know if this counts as a movie, but Jim Gaffigan’s Mr. Universe is an all time favorite.

David. David loved the Lord with his whole heart, but he was unmistakably human and poor in spirit. I want to please God trusting that when I fall short, his mercy and love for me never retreat.

When I first met one of my best friends, Mark, I was SUPER intimidated by him because he’s extremely quick witted, confident, and a talented drummer.

I’ve never been sky diving, but I really want to!

When I was in second grade, my finger got stuck in a door and got cut off! Thankfully, the doctor was awesome and sewed it right back on, and I’ve still got all my fingers 🙂

I’m married to an incredible woman named Heather, and we have two kids – Norah (4) and Jacob (2). They’re amazing kids.

Don’t remember the first one I bought, but the first I remember listening to was my dad’s copy of Dire Straits Brothers In Arms album.

That is a hard question. Don’t know that these are my favorites, but by sheer number of listens, I’m going to say:

What was your first concert?
It was probably when Al Denson visited my church when I was a kid (dating myself). But the first “real” concert I went to was Dave Matthews Band, if I recall.
You have a night off, what are you watching?
Currently, that would be Blacklist.
What was the last movie that moved you/made you laugh out loud/inspired you?
Hacksaw Ridge. Really difficult movie to watch, but incredibly inspiring.

Whoever is in the playoffs and whatever looks interesting at the moment. I’m not much of a “fan” of teams.

Without a doubt, it’s at home with my family!

Canada and Mexico, plus brief stops in Honduras and Belize. My wife travelled throughout South America and Europe prior to us meeting, so hopefully we’ll get to do that together one day.
What was your dream job when you were a kid?
From middle school onward, I just wanted to do anything musical, and I’ve been fortunate to do that so far. Thankful for every opportunity that’s come my way through music!
Person you got nervous meeting and why?
Definitely my wife. I’m pretty sure I stopped mid-sentence more than once on our first date!
What’s on the top of your bucket list?
In life, that would be to raise our kids into adults that want to come home to visit. As far as cool activities go, probably biking down a mountain in Hawaii.

I’ve played in not one, but two different Jimmy Buffett tribute bands. And enjoyed both of them greatly. It’s impossible to be sad while Jimmy Buffett songs are playing.
